I learned a valuable lesson today. Never quit. It was first thing this morning and I went out for my 3 mile run...with the intention to make my fitness goal for this 11 day contest of IsaGameOn. I started out strong, I felt, but when I checked my time at the bottom of the first mile I was about 3 minutes slower than I needed to be to make my fitness goal. Immeditely the chatter began in my brain, but I kept going while my brain processed the information, "should I quit?"... "I need to do my 30 minutes anyway"... "but I could walk and get the points for that"..."I am feeling good. What if I really did make my goal". As the chatter continued in my brain I slowed my pace a little but extended my stride. At the next mile point, the time seemed closer to what I should be at so that spured me on with a little more hope. As I rounded the corner of my last stretch, I picked up my pace and lengthened my stride..."What if I make it?" was running through my mind. Then, as I crossed the finish line, completely having given all I had to give, I checked my time... I DID IT!!! I DID IT! I was over the finish line two full minutes ahead of the goal I had set! The euphoria was amazing and set a great tone for the rest of my day but the lesson I learned so profoundly was...DON'T QUIT! Sherrie H.

YOU ARE AWESOME!
Imagine, if you'd never set that goal, you wouldn't even know what you're capable of.
Amazing!
