PRACTICAL CLEANSING TIP

Drink plenty of water every day
Let's discuss the importance of water in helping you cleanse impurities and support weight loss.

Your body gets rid of impurities in several different ways: through elimination, perspiration and breath (that's why cardiovascular exercise is essential to Nutritional Cleansing!). Water is important to cleansing for the obvious reason - it helps your body remove impurities naturally.

Your body is about two-thirds water. When you don't get enough water, you become dehydrated. Dehydrated cells don't function as well as hydrated cells. If they aren't working properly, then your cells may not be removing impurities efficiently, which affects the body's overall health.

Water is also important to weight loss. A buildup of impurities in your body may affect how well your metabolism works. Water can also help quell hunger pangs for short periods of time.

The bottom-line is you must drink adequate amounts of water each and every day. A general way to calculate your daily requirement of water in ounces is to cut your body weight in half. A person who is 150 pounds should drink 75 ounces of water, while a 200-pound person should drink 100 ounces.

If you exercise vigorously or live in a very hot region, your water requirements might be even higher.

Keep a water bottle with you at all times - in the car, at work and always while exercising. Make a conscious effort to drink from your bottle every 10 - 15 minutes, even if you're not thirsty. Some experts believe that when you experience thirst, you're already dehydrated. So, drink continuously throughout the day.

Tara L., a mother of two young girls, recently moved from the west coast to the east coast.  With both girls now in school, Tara suddenly had time for herself!  At this time of major transition, it seemed appropriate to embark on her first ever nutritional cleanse.  Tara participated in our first 11-day round and had tremendous success!  She lost 11 lbs in 11 days.

Me: How was your first ISA GAME ON experience?
Tara: WONDERFUL!  I was SHOCKED at how much weight I lost!  More surprising was that I wasn't feeling tired everyday in the afternoon like before.  Although my first two cleanse days were tough - I mean like wanting to chew my own fingers off - things have greatly improved!  And it is SO worth it! I don't feel hungry anymore.  When I have a shake for breakfast, I don't even think about food til afternoon!  

Tara is now in her 2nd round of ISA GAME ON and she is the current Captain of team #12!
